Rated 3.0 out of 5.0Â by Meera My facial skin was hot & cool after applying
Dear Customer Service
I first use this product, and today was the first time. After applying this liquid lotion, I felt my facial skin was a little bit hot and cool like mint and less hot about one hour later. Am I allergic with this lotion? Can I use it anymore?
Please kindly advice. Thank you

Applies nicely, burns like he!!! for a few minutes leaving skin feeling very dry afterwards. Will NEVER purchase this product again. Have never experienced a problem with any face cream before. Disappointed.

I have very dry, dehydration-prone, acne-prone skin. I wear sunscreen everyday to fight signs of aging but can't afford to purchase any made outside of the USA. Unlike most others I've tried, this doesn't sting during application or break me out. I foolishly tried to upgrade to a more expensive and allegedly nicer sunscreen but it broke me out. I'm now crawling back on my hands and knees. I'm sorry I strayed, Neutrogena.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Caused breakouts for me
Clearly, as I am buying this sunblock, I have very breakout-prone skin.
I tried this product on three separate occasions. Each time, the result was the same - a big break out that evening into the next day. On the third try, I used the product on my neck where I almost never get acne.and had a significant breakout there, too, I can only conclude that this sunscreen causes me to breakout.
Of course, every one is different, so it could still work for you!
I gave it two stars because it works as a sunscreen - I didn't get any sunburn (something which also breaks me out)!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0Â by Mamaw 3 Had a bad breakout using Neutrogena face sunscreen
During my stay at the beach last week I needed sunscreen for my face so I purchased a tube of Neutrogena Clear face sunscreen. I only used it for one day and the next day my chin started breaking out with big bumps and I also had one on the side of my face which is not normal for me. So I decided not to use the Neutrogena anymore. My face has not cleared completely up yet but that is the only thing that I used that I had not used before. So I do feel that it had something to do with the break out.

I've been reading the other reviews and found that this product is good for some people..but not for me. I never have pimples and after using this product my face broke out so bad. I could not figure out if it was the sun causing the breakout or the cream but I ran into a friend on the beach who told me to throw this stuff out! She also had a reaction that left her with a "chemical peel" effect. As soon as I stopped using it, about 3 days later I could tell a big difference in my skin. It began to clear up and look back to normal. I don't want to deter people from using it because it seems to work great for alot of people but just be aware that if you start having a reaction..it's probably the cream. Sorry Neutrogena.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0Â by Moriah Terrible reaction!
I used this on my face, neck and chest, it burned about a minute after I applied it. It turned me very red in a couple of hours. My skin was extremely irritated for a week, very red, bumpy, then my skin was flakey and pealed. It was like a bad sunburn, but I had not been in the sun. I used a popular body suntan lotion for 40 years with no reaction ever, thought I would try Neutrogena since it was specifically for the face, unscented and oil free. Big Mistake! I'd like to know what it contains to cause such a bad reaction? I'd like a reply. Thank you.
