Rated 1.0 out of 5.0Â by Red in the face Severe Burning + No ingredient listing? no thanks
My face has been burning, swollen and red for the last 2 weeks, and I think this must be the culprit. I know I am allergic to methylisothiazolinone which is in many cosmetic products. Neutrogena has always been a safe brand for me, as the ingredients are limited and easily found on the labels. So with my latest and most severe and debilitating outbreak I looked up the ingredients on all of the neutrogena products I use, facial cleanser, makeup remover, shampoo - clearly labelled ingredients are on all of those products. But then I looked up Deep Moisture Day Cream, and where "Ingredients" is clearly listed on all the other products it says "Drug Facts" with no complete ingredient listing - Very disappoiniting. I hope Neutrogena is not making this a practice. I will have to abandon the brand, as they abandon their corporate promise of clean and honest product labelling.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0Â by InTheShade FINALLY - a day/SPF moisturizer in a pot!
I am fair-skinned so need to use an SPF moisturizer on a daily basis. However, many of the ones out there are too liquidy, have that weird sunscreen smell/feel to them and are packaged so badly that you can only access 1/2 - 2/3 of the product before you need scissors to cut open the tube/bottle and get out the rest. High marks to Neutrogena on this one for actually putting a day cream in a pot - it's so much easier to take as much of the product as you need and no hassle to use every last drop as compared to all the tubes and pumps out there! As well, I like that this cream is thick (almost akin to a night cream). The only thing that I would change would be to make the SPF even higher.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 Disappointed
I'm am so disappointed with this product. I have dry skin and this doesn't feel moisturizing enough and face looks chalky after use. I also had some burning issues in sensitive areas, looks like sunburn making fine lines look deeper.

I'm am so disappointed that this was not a replacement for my beloved Intensified Day Moisture. I have dry skin and this just feels heavy. I also had some burning issues in sensitive areas. I'm not sure why the Intensified Day Moisture is no longer available but I really miss it. It's been a year now and I haven't been able to fill it's shoes. I noticed today that jars were available online for $100 plus dollars.

Oddly, when I put this on in the morning, by 4pm my expression lines around my mouth are much deeper! It feels all right going on, isn't too greasy, but it does not seem to be moisturizing at all. I've only been using it a few days but I've never seen lines like this before, or had a product seem to have such a negative effect. I'm disappointed ... I am usually pretty happy with Neutrogena products and buy them because they live up to their claims. But what this cream does is scary!

I bought this and the night cream. I put the day spf moisturizer on got the beads and had to wash off. My face was covered in beads. So I put the night cream on and my face felt strange and my eyes were watering all day and I couldn't wash my face at work. I have been using Ultra Gentle Daily Cleanser for sensitive skin and was amazed with it. I was hoping these would be good moisturizers but they were horrible.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0Â by att2detail No more compliments--new formula not as good
For years I had used the old formula of Neutrogena Intensified Day Moisture, SPF 15, and not a week passed by where I did not receive a compliment about my skin. When it was discontinued I tried several other Neutrogena moisturizers, but could not get the same result. Then one day it appeared that my beloved Intensified Day Moisture Cream had returned-- just in a different package and a higher SPF. Unfortunately, it is not the same. Although I have not had the burning issues others have commented about; I have to agree, the "moisture" part is missing from this new formula--as are the compliments I used to receive. I would feel better knowing that the formula was changed, not to save a few cents, or because someone needed their ego boosted, but because new research found that an ingredient in the old formula might be harmful. Based on the comments I have read on several different sites, my bet is that we would all be willing to pay more for the product if the old formula was restored. I realize that a company can do as it pleases with its products, but will you please provide a logical response as to why the old formula was discontinued? Thank you for your time.
