Rated 2.0 out of 5.0Â by Movingon Gunks up, doesn't absorb, hard to apply makeup on
NOT a substitute for Intesified Day Moisture. Does not absorb, leaves a film on my skin and does not moisturize well.when IDM was discontinued, and I started using this, I thought suddenly I was aging much quicker--dry skin, lines, patchiness. Now I realize it's this product. I'm so turned off by Neutrogenea now. Going in search of a new moisturizer elsewhere.
Btw, when I called two years ago to see why IDM was discontinued, I was told it was a Marketing decision.
Really? THAT's your answer? Cuz marketing people are people who know skin, right? Right there showed me how Neutrogenea is more concerned with the almighty dollar than with the actual quality of their products.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0Â by Patty518 has left my skin red and sore
I bought this product for the Neutrogena name. The first thing I noticed is that the product doesn't sink into the skin it seems to gunk up like an exfoliator would do leaving my skin raw. I can't put make up on top of it because it just becomes one rolled up mess.

I have dry skin and this is the only moisturizer I will use. Its very hydrating and leaves my skin dewey and soft. It wears well under makeup and never breaks me out. I wish it had a higher SPF but other than that, love it!

Tried several other Neutrogena products since they stopped making the Intensified Day Moisturizer and nothing works as well. They sit on my skin and do nothing. The Intensified Day Moisturizer absorbed easily into the skin and didn't cause any eruptions. Most important of all, it was fragrance free.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0Â by Red in the face Severe Burning + No ingredient listing? no thanks
My face has been burning, swollen and red for the last 2 weeks, and I think this must be the culprit. I know I am allergic to methylisothiazolinone which is in many cosmetic products. Neutrogena has always been a safe brand for me, as the ingredients are limited and easily found on the labels. So with my latest and most severe and debilitating outbreak I looked up the ingredients on all of the neutrogena products I use, facial cleanser, makeup remover, shampoo - clearly labelled ingredients are on all of those products. But then I looked up Deep Moisture Day Cream, and where "Ingredients" is clearly listed on all the other products it says "Drug Facts" with no complete ingredient listing - Very disappoiniting. I hope Neutrogena is not making this a practice. I will have to abandon the brand, as they abandon their corporate promise of clean and honest product labelling.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0Â by InTheShade FINALLY - a day/SPF moisturizer in a pot!
I am fair-skinned so need to use an SPF moisturizer on a daily basis. However, many of the ones out there are too liquidy, have that weird sunscreen smell/feel to them and are packaged so badly that you can only access 1/2 - 2/3 of the product before you need scissors to cut open the tube/bottle and get out the rest. High marks to Neutrogena on this one for actually putting a day cream in a pot - it's so much easier to take as much of the product as you need and no hassle to use every last drop as compared to all the tubes and pumps out there! As well, I like that this cream is thick (almost akin to a night cream). The only thing that I would change would be to make the SPF even higher.

I'm am so disappointed with this product. I have dry skin and this doesn't feel moisturizing enough and face looks chalky after use. I also had some burning issues in sensitive areas, looks like sunburn making fine lines look deeper.

I'm am so disappointed that this was not a replacement for my beloved Intensified Day Moisture. I have dry skin and this just feels heavy. I also had some burning issues in sensitive areas. I'm not sure why the Intensified Day Moisture is no longer available but I really miss it. It's been a year now and I haven't been able to fill it's shoes. I noticed today that jars were available online for $100 plus dollars.
