Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Swollen Eyelids, Blotchy Face My dermatologist recommended this product, so naturally I thought it would be a good thing to try out. After using it less than three times, I woke up one morning with a swollen eyelid in addition to terribly dry skin (even drier than normal) and red blotches. Definitely not a good investment. Hope the swelling and blotchiness goes away fast... it is quite irritating. Feb 27, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible effect on my skin!!! I've started to use this product for 3 days. It has terrible effects on my face and neck! All red, itchy acne are around everywhere!! My doctor gave this treatment for me, but it doesn't help at ALL! My face is burning and all dry!!! Feb 25, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible reaction to my normal/combination skin After using this product for only 3 days (2x per day like a usual skin care routine) my skin was extremely dry, red and burning. This has been worst reaction I've ever had to a face product! My skin is combination type and not typically sensitive but this product was wayy too strong for me. I've been trying to recover for 4 days now (it's a little better) but my skin is still burning and very dry.. Feb 23, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Won't over-dry or irritate? WRONG! I would not recommend this product to anyone. I changed out my face wash for this one and after a couple of days using this I've experienced overly dry skin around my face and neck as well as itching, and a terrible rash! Definitely steer clear of this product. Feb 20, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by bad reaction on my skin! I was looking for a good face wash to use after sweaty workouts at the gym. I figured this product would be great to prevent me from oil buildup and break outs which tend to happen to my face after working out. The first day I used this wash (before bed), I noticed a tingling/ burning sensation on my face.I wrote it off thinking perhaps it was the tingling of the Sacilyc acid. BUT when i woke up I had red dry blotches in various spots on my face and eye lids! I washed my face again and immediately moisturized and my skin was left so sensitive and painful to the touch for the rest of the day. This is VERY disappointing since the face wash is practically unused but I don't think I can continue to use it. :( Feb 20, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Grandma and Granddaughter both love it! I'm very surprised to see all the negative reviews here. I am a 54 yr old grandmother to a 14 yr old granddaughter. I have been using this for years on my combination skin. I only have an occasion pimple but I use it because I love the way it makes my skin feel and look! I get compliments on my skin all the time. I introduced this wash to my grandaughter when she was 12 and she loved it too and continues to use it at 14. It keeps her face clear and she tells all her friends about it. We buy up ak few bottles at a time because we are always afraid you will stop making it. It has to be a great product if we can't live without it even with the age gap! Well done Neutrogena!
