Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by This is NOT a SAFE over-the-counter product Mistake number 1: I used this and woke up with a rash on my face. It usually takes time for any acne treatment to work so I kept using it. Mistake number 2: I noticed my skin was VERY VERY DRY. So I decided to use it once a day and use plenty of moisturizer. ...no results. Mistake number 3: I used a small amount and added lots of water to dilute this HARSH product. YET my skin changed from dry to very flaky, leathery, itchy, and I got clusters of pimples my cheeks. I have small zits and these pimples/cyst were new to me! The BEST decision discontinued using this product after several months of using it. My skin was so bad, I HAD to see a dermatologist to help my skin recover from the damages and acne marks of this HARSH product. My self-esteem was at all time low due to my face. I looked like I aged too. AWFUL!! 2 Cents: Just because a product is on the market and "over the counter" does not mean it is safe to use on your face. Your face is delicate. Please don't use just any product. Do you research. Better yet, see a dermatologist. It is the safest way and your doctor is accountable & reliable for your skin care. Even though it's expensive, realize that dermatologist are experts in the field of skin care and are willingly to help you get clear skin in the safest way possible. For 14 years, I've used product after product (including proactive) trying to "cure" my acne with similar over-the-counter drugs when I should have just called my doctor to help me find the best product for my skin. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by It helps but... I have tried a lot of cleansers and cremes from high-end and drugstore but since i found this one it has helped me a lot with my acne but the only problem i have with it, is that it dries my skin really bad. Sometimes i can see my t zone peeling and flaky, it helps me with the acne but at the same times it dries my skin. Not sure if buying it again. Dec 14, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Skin feels not to dry, not too oily! I tried this in a sample size at first. Here's what I think: The Smell: It doesn't smell all that great but not bad either, reminds me of baby bath products. The Price: The price isn't too bad, kind of expensive but most cleansers are more. Application: It felt nice when I put it on, my face felt cool after applied before I washed it off. It was easy enough to use. Skin Results: My skin felt perfect! Right in the perfect zone between not too dry and not too oily :) I also just felt so clean. Dec 7, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by My face is clearing up So i started using this a few weeks ago and I love it; my skin is oily/combination and it helps with the oiliness and it helps with the oily face and does dry our your face but it dries out your acne/pimples quickly too so I just like to use a moisturizer on the side whenever my face gets dry. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Definitely dermatologist recommended My dermatologist recommended this to me when I was in my late teens. I am now in early 30s and still use it simply because I never thought to use anything else. This has definitely kept my skin clear for all these years. My acne didnt get bad til my late teens and then I began using this. Took a while but acne definitely cleared out. I will likely switch to an anti aging treatment now. Nov 26, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Painful Never really had acne problems in my life until recently. So a mate referred me onto this product. I've only used this product twice and it did settle the acne right down but the side effects that came with it was not worth it. My face is now burnt red, feels like its on fire and my skin is flaky. These side effects have siverly interfered with both my jobs. I am the face of an Event's Arena Centre and also a DVD presenter for Group Fitness Aerobic Classes. Is there anything that could clear this up immediately??? :( Nov 24, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by This product is a disaster i used this product a week ago and got rashes all over my face. My skin was Inflamed and swollen for 3 days and then dried up completely. the entire skin is peeling off and extremely dry now. Surprisingly my skin was never sensitive and this product should not have affected it this bad-"purely going by the product warning". Now with so many similar reviews it makes me think as to why is this product still there in market. It is a complete disaster..would never ever recommend anyone to use this. Nov 24, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Be very wary of this product This face wash made me absolutely miserable. My skin instantly completely dried out and my face was covered in a red hot rash for about a week. I understand that a lot of people find this product works for them, but for the amount of people it causes genuine harm to, I really think it should be marketed differently. The only warning on it is against "sensitive skin" users. But my skin has NEVER been sensitive to any other product but this one. It is an incredibly harsh product that would be safer to be prescription only, at a doctor or dermatologist's recommendation. Nov 17, 2014
