Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Smell is awful. Hate new product. I thought I had bought the wrong product as soon as I put some on my hand. I have severe allergies and this stuff stinks! More like insecticide than a product for your face. It is listed as UNSCENTED. That is definitely not true anymore. I have used this for years but no more. Not sure why you changed it but new is bad. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Formula Change I have used this product for over 10 years and will not be buying another bottle. The new formula for the product causes my face to have an allergic reaction. The smell of the new formula is very off-putting and my skin starts burning as soon as the product touches my skin. I am at a loss as to what to try next as I loved the old formula. Please switch the formula back! Feb 20, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very unhappy with this product I had no problems with the prior bottle of this product. After use, I broke out in a hive-like rash all over my face which has taken days to heal. I should have read the fine print which states "stop use and ask a doctor if rash occurs". Too, I looked up the ingredients and have found that while oxybenzone is indeed a sunscreen agent, oxybenzone can cause an allergenic reaction and affect the immune system. Feb 15, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible New Formula I've used Neutrogena SPF 15 face lotion for almost 20 years. I picked up more from store and used it this week. The smell, the texture, the burning feeling on my skin was horrible! I then looked at the bottles. This new formula says "Broad Spectrum SPF 15" and the ingredients are changed. I'm glad to know other users are not liking this new formula. Neutrogena--bring back the old SPF 15 face lotion! Totally disappointed and can't use this new formula. Feb 13, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Unhappy with the new formula I have used this moisturizer twice a day seven days a week for about twenty years and loved it. My face always felt good after using it. I just bought the moisturizer yesterday ...used it...my face felt dry and burned terribly. I also don't like the smell of it. What a disappointment after loving it all these years! Please, please bring the old formula back . Jan 31, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great product, but not airplane friendly Great product. I've been using this for years. But it is currently 118mL which is over the international airplane carry on limit of 100mL and I've probably had to give up a dozen of these to TSA over the years. Please reduce the size (and cost) just a tad! Jan 26, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by not so oil free this product is supposed to be oil be oil free, but it leave my face feeling greasy. i think it's even causing me to break out which i rarely do. Jan 20, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Need old formula back! Like many other reviewers, I was shocked today when realizing the formula had changed for this moisturizer. At first I noticed the different smell, and then after application it began to burn my skin, something the old formula had never done before. The old formula (which I have used for a couple of years) was always a relief to my dry skin, but this new one exasperated the problem. As I have only used the new formula once, I cannot comment yet on any long-term effects. Comparing the active ingredients, the 5% octisalate remains the same between both formulas, and the 3% oxybenzone was increased to 4% oxybenzone. Octinoxate (7.5%) was removed from the formula. In addition, the new formula adds two more ingredients: avobenzone (1.5%), and octocrylene (3%). Something in this chemical cocktail is clearly causing unwanted side effects for many of the customers. Also, given that this product was on sale at my local Target, I bought two! Now I am stuck with 8 oz of burning moisturizer that I spent almost $20 on, with no hope that the old formula will come back in the future. Jan 13, 2015
