Seemed promising, but caused breakoutsI was in love with this sunscreen when I first tried it. It went on a bit silicone-ish but the shine didn't last long once it sunk in. Minimal white cast, not gritty. Smooth application. Best of all it didn't irritate my sensitive skin! Unfortunately it seems to be breaking me out. I started using this sunscreen just a week or so ago, and now I'm breaking out in small whiteheads when my skin had been fairly clear before. Unfortunately I'll have to discontinue use of this on my face. I would still recommend giving it a try if you have dry, sensitive skin. Not everyone's skin will react the same way mine did.

Full of silicones, very shiny, greasy finishI had been using Neutrogena dry touch and then Age Shield sunscreens for the past 5 years in earnest, but upon learning about the hormone disrupting properties of chemical sunscreens (and being tired of red, stinging eyes), I decided to explore a switch to mineral sunscreen. I tried this product both on my make up free and work week makeup wearing days and both were terrible! My skin had a mirror like finish thanks to the heavy dose of silicones that didn't absorb, and on my makeup days, the expensive makeup ran/rubbed off in an hour. The cherry on top was waking up to to random comedones (pimples) on my normally clear skin after this 4 day experiment. Very disappointed, Neutrogena.

Not greasy and my kids love itI have a hard time getting my kids to put sunscreen on. This is the only product that they won't fight to put on their faces. My husband is sensitive to many products. He also likes this product. It is not greasy at all. In addition, my daughter and husband are very light skinned. They don't burn with this product like they have with other products. It may be pricey, but it is worth every penny.

Quick and EfficientI was tired of facial sunscreens that went on heavy and didn't absorb easily. Pure & Free is a winner. It blended smoothly into my skin without leaving a trace and didn't feel heavy or greasy.

Love this productI am very sensitive to sunscreens. Burning skin and eyes are always a problem. But not with this sunscreen. I even apply it to my eyelids with no problem.

I hate using sunblock, however...I never wore sunblock on my face before because of the horrific smell and greasy over-all feeling. I recently spoke with a skin care professional about getting my first microdermabrasion and was told that I must wear a high SPF rated sunblock on my face afterwards. I did a lot of research and finally found this product. I started using it a few days ago to see if I could tolerate it, and WOW, I think it's fabulous--lightweight (I forget that I'm wearing it), non-greasy (who wants to feel greasy on a hot day?) and lack of a sunscreen smell (I don't want to smell the beach unless I'm actually at it). THANK YOU, NEUTROGENA!
