Donate & Share A Self-Expression Selfie For A Good Cause

Accepting yourself for who you are. Owning your truth. Feeling comfortable in your own skin. Now that’s beautiful! Self-expression, no matter what that looks like for you, is the truest form of honoring your identity. At Neutrogena, we’re dedicated to supporting our LGBTQIA+ community to confidently express their identity — with makeup or without.

That’s why we’re a part of Johnson & Johnson’s CARE WITH PRIDE® initiative; Donate a Photo. Donate a Photo connects you with nonprofits striving to make the world a better, more accepting place. By 2030, Neutrogena hopes that we’ll have helped build a world where a healthy mind, body and environment are within reach for everyone, everywhere.

Here are five reasons why you should join the Donate a Photo challenge with us.

It’s Beyond Easy

Just download the Donate a Photo app on your iOS or Android device and pick a photo (yep, literally any photo) to share on the app. We know you have a little extra time on your hands, and you’re already posting pics to social. So, no excuses. Pet selfies welcomed!

You Get to Choose the Cause

For every photo that you share on the app, Johnson & Johnson donates $1 to the cause of your choice. The best part? You could generate $365 for that nonprofit by sharing one photo every day for a year.

You Get to be Someone’s Ray of Sunshine

To date, more than 4 million photos have been shared on the app. That means every time you share a photo, someone’s day gets a little brighter through your donation and also through your snapshot. And for times when you’re soaking in the real rays, there’s our limited-edition Beach Defense sunscreen.

It’s Social

Like most things in life, this challenge is way better with friends and family. Share your photos on social and get everyone you know in on it, too. We’re all about this virtual togetherness while being separated thing right now.

You Can Post with Pride

We want to see your truest self in these photos. Feeling creative and want to show off a makeup look? Awesome. (Psst… When it’s time to take it off, grab a pack of Pride Edition Makeup Remover Wipes - or use them like a tool to help create your look!) Got a natural glow goin’ on that you need the world to see? Do it. Sharing is caring, and you can do it knowing that Donate a Photo is both supportive of your creativity and the nonprofits that it benefits.
